Delete your account
For BuzzBaby, made by Wemma Technologies Inc.
Cancel your subscription first. Deleting your BuzzBaby account does not cancel a subscription you bought through the App Store or Google Play. Those are billed by Apple and Google, not by us, and they keep charging until you cancel them. Cancel first, then delete.
On iPhone: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › BuzzBaby › Cancel Subscription.
On Android: Play Store › your profile › Payments and subscriptions › Subscriptions › BuzzBaby.
Delete from inside the app
This is the quickest way, and it needs no approval from us.
- Open BuzzBaby and tap your profile.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm when asked. The confirmation is deliberately slow, because the deletion cannot be undone from inside the app.
Delete without the app
If you have already removed BuzzBaby from your phone, or you can't sign in, email info@buzzbaby.org from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We may need to check that the address is yours before we act. A real person answers, normally within two business days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in, including any Sign in with Apple connection.
- Every child profile you created, with their milestones, activity history and notes.
- Anything you recorded in the Tracker, including feeding, sleep, diaper and growth entries.
- Anything kept from a scan you ran. The photos themselves are never stored, so there are none to delete.
A profile picture you chose lives on your own phone, so deleting the app removes that with it.
How long it takes
- Straight away. You are signed out and the account stops working.
- Up to 14 days. We can still recover it if you email us and say you changed your mind.
- Within 30 days. Everything is purged for good, including from our backups.
After that we cannot bring any of it back, because it no longer exists anywhere.
Anything we keep
We keep only what the law requires us to keep, for example a record of a purchase for tax purposes. That record does not contain your child's information. Our Privacy Policy sets out the detail.
